Settings for your X-T30

It is important to configure your camera to your likings.

For me it is important to capture the moments so I don’t want to spend too much time with changing settings every time I take a photo.

I would like to share my favorite configuration on my XT-30. So I am not going through all settings just the most important ones for me.


Hardware settings

MCS: S (Single auto focus) Left dial: S Aperture: A EV: 0


I.Q. setting

Image quality: F


AF MF settings

AF Mode: Single point Face/Eye detection : Off Depth of field scale: Film Format


Shooting settings

Shutter type: M+E


Screen setting

Image display: 0,5 sec Autorotate displays: On


Display custom Setting

The following OFF (and everything else on): Framing guideline Live view highlight alert Framing outline


Function (Fn) setting

Fn1: Preview Depth of Field T-Fn1: Self-Timer AE-L: RAW AF-L: AF-ON R-Dial: Focus check


Button / dial setting

Shoot without lens: On
